I spent hours playing with the Google Ngram Viewer, trying to find a word or phrase whose usage has increased more dramatically than risk. I couldn't find one that even came close.

The chart shows the relative frequencies of the word risk (the red line) compared to some other high-usage words (happiness, faith, hope). Over the 30 years from 1970 to 2000, the occurrence of risk increased by over 300%.

I tried many other words and phrases but found nothing else like it. The closest was 'computer' but that failed to keep up with 'risk' over 3 decades. Many other words showed steep rises but only at much lower usage levels.
