The Oxfam/Gurkha Trailwalker is a fund-raising walk along the South Downs Way in the south of England. This year 480 teams of four took part and 1513 people finished. Well done everyone!

But what fascinated me was the list of team names. Some of them were predictably prosaic like BP Accounts A Team who did well, finishing at Number 72. Some were witty puns: The Down Raiders, Downs in One, For The Trek of It.

But many of them referred to the crazy idea of participating in such a long walk:

It's often the way that taking risks for a worthwhile cause can seem crazy when looked at rationally. It's a good thing that we're not rational all the time!
